CAHPERD STANDING COMMITTEES
PUBLIC RELATIONS COMMITTEE
WHO?
TheChair for the Public Relations Committee shall be appointed
by the President, with the approval of the Board of Directors, shall
serve a three-year term and may be reappointed at the discretion
of each incoming President. The members of the Committee
shall consist of the President, Past President, Public Relations
Chair and at least one member from each of the five districts. A
staggered two-year rotation system shall be established.
WHAT?

Publicize among the CAHPERD membership successful teaching
practices and interpret health education, physical education,
recreation and dance to the general public.

Serve as a liaison between CAHPERD and other related agencies
concerning public relations.

Prepare appropriate articles for the CAHPERD Journal and
other related publications.

Initiate
special studies and research projects relating to public relations
upon approval of the Administrative Committee
WHEN?
The Publications Committee shall meet as deemed appropriate by
the Public Relations Chair.
