DESCRIPTION & MISSION

The purpose of the Boys & Men’s Athletics Division is to:

  • Encourage and stimulate the professional growth and development of men engaged in the teaching, coaching and officiating of athletics in California.
  • Study, analyze, and work toward the solution of problems of common and significant interest to the men in athletics, physical education, and recreation.
  • Bring recognition, status, prestige, and opportunity for leadership to men in athletics by providing them opportunities to participate in conferences, meetings, clinics, workshops, and other group and individual projects.
  • Provide the organization through which CAHPERD and coaches of athletics may better serve each other. This may be accomplished by establishing an information sharing relationship with the California Athletic Directors Association.
