Teaching the content in standard four doesn’t need to be a lecture. Experience ways to incorporate movement while teaching physical fitness and nutrition concepts, kindergarten through fifth grade.
Google Documents, Forms and Spreadsheets, OH MY!

Design forms for students to fill out online. Keep track of fitness scores. Work with other teachers on new lessons. Learn about Google and how to use their programs to develop forms and spreadsheets. Learn how to share information with other teachers, students, and parents in a "hands-on" learning environment.
Not Your Standard Dance Unit:  Ideas to Address the Kindergarten Through 5th Grade Rhythmic Skills Content Standards

Attendees will be engaged in several energetic “rhythmic skills” activities and dances designed to challenge and excite!   A multitude of Kindergarten through 5th grade standards-based, rhythmic activities will be presented in order to provide participants with ideas to make connections between the rhythm standards and student learning.

Teaching outside, in a large gym and/or alongside other classes, requires unique ways to manage a class of students. In this session you will experience variety of ways to handle different areas you might have at your school site. Need your class to get into groups for a standard base activity? No problem. There are many ways to use health & fitness terms to do so. Come join the fun, bring a smile and be ready to move.
The FUNdamentals of Moving

These will be activities to get students moving using their bodies and the basics of movement. Activities will feature fun music and versatile activities that can be done in spaces both big and small. Sure to put a smile on your students faces!
