The purpose of the Higher Education Section is to:

• Assist the profession in the determination and maintenance of high standards in the areas of health, physical education, recreation and dance.
• Improve the status of health, physical education, recreation and dance and to work to maintain high standards by communicating with professional preparation institutions.
